Term Grade (object)
This object represents the overall score/grade a student has achieved for a Course throughout the whole semester (Term).
The Term Grade rolls up the calculated score from all the individual grades (assignments and exams) the student has achieved for that Course. This will also be rolled up to the student's Course Connection record and be displayed as the final grade/score.

** By default, there is no automatic rollup for Grades and Term Grades.
This is because each user might have different requirements and method of calculating the final score of a Course.
Thus, you are recommended to highlight your requirements to the RIO Team.

| Course Connection | Lookup to the related Course Connection. The Contact and Course Offering on this Term Grade must match the Contact and Course Offering on the Course Connection. |

| Term Grade Type |
The type of grading period that this grade is for. Picklist options:

| Mode |
(v3.11) Overrides the Grading Period lock / unlock for a student. The options are: "Locked" and "Unlocked". Admin can now override the Grading Period lock/unlock for an individual student. This way, even if a particular Grade Period is locked, it can be unlocked for an individual student to have the grades entered/edited. See also: Grading students' Sessions. |

The overall result of the student's performance for this Course. |

Lookup to the related Session. |
| Credits Attempted |
The number of credits attempted this Term. Note: The Term Grade record is only generated after grading the student. |
| Credits Earned |
The number of credits the student earned this Term. |
| Letter Grade |
If your school uses letter grades, enter the letter grade the student earned, e.g. A, B, C. |
| Numerical Grade |
If your school uses numeric grades, enter the numeric grade the student earned. |
| Percent Grade |
If your school grades on a percentage basis, enter the percent grade the student earned. |
| Status |
(v3.15) A picklist field for users (i.e. faculty) to define whether the Term Grades that they have input are:
