PE Pathway

PE Pathway

By default, a Program Enrollment will use the default pathway cloned from the related Program Plan. The cloned Program Pathway is created as a PE Pathway record, and it has a reference to Program Pathway (lookup).
This is currently used by the Student Enrollment Wizard to display the suggested Courses for a student in the Student Community.
The 'Credits Enrolled' from PE Pathway will show in the Student Enrollment Wizard (rolled up).
The origin of the field can be confirmed by referring to the 'Additional PE Pathway Field Set Name' field in the RIO Ed - My Pathway (Aura) component.
Calculations
Credits Enrolled in a PE Pathway is a lookup to the total credits enrolled for the Term including enrolled, completed, and withdrawn requested Course Connections.
It is calculated from the total sum of Credits Offered from each Course Connection tied to the PE Pathway.
Note that the Course Connection's Enrollment Status has to be either one of the following: Enrolled / Completed / Withdrawn Requested.

As of v3.11, a PE Pathway can be created without a Program Pathway. This means that a Program Plan can be created without Program Pathways, and students can enroll to any Courses in any order.
Ensure that under the PE Pathway validation rule, the Required_Default_Program_Pathway is not active.

| Faculty Approved Max Credits | Maximum credits approved by Faculty. Overrides Max Credits. |
| Credits Enrolled |

Only used for Fixed Term and Term - Course fee methods. Creates Student Fees for this PE Pathway.

| Credits Attempted | Lookup to the amount of credits attempted. |
| Credits Earned | Lookup to the amount of credits earned. |
| Grade Points | Lookup to the grade points. |
| GPA |
Set the grade point average. As of v3.11, this field can consider credits equivalent for the Course's PE Group. By default, this field only stores up to 3 decimal places (for calculation). The 'GPA Decimal Places' custom settings can be configured to increase this (for calculation, not display). |
| Quality Points |
(v3.10) This formula field will automatically calculate Quality Points using this formula = GPA x Credits Earned. |
| All Courses Completed | Checkbox. |
| All Courses Passed? | Checkbox. |
| Deferred | Checkbox. The process to automatically mark the "Automatically Enroll in Courses" will be ignored if this is checked. |
