Student Fee and Fee Lines
The Student Fee and Fee Line records are the fees that a student will need to pay for the Courses they enrolled.
These are created depending on the “Fee Method” defined in Program Enrollment. For more information, see: Fee and Student Fee Matrix.

Important fields
Student Fee

| Fee Status | Formula field describing the status of this Student Fee record, i.e. pending, approved. |
| Total Fee | Roll-up summary of the sum of all Fee Lines under this Student Fee record. |

Picklist of Student Fee types.

Will be used as the date to calculate the age of the fees. |
| PE Pathway | Lookup to the PE Pathway this Student Fee is associated with. |
| Void |
Marks this Student Fee record as void, and will be deleted (if not locked), if the PE Pathway's 'Term Fee Status' is set to 'Regenerate'. For more information, see: Regenerate Fees. |
| Create Disbursements |
(v3.11) Checkbox to create a disbursement of Funding Allocation, for the payments to a Student Fee. For more details, see here. |
| Outstanding Amount | Formula field. Total Fee minus the Paid Amount. |
| Total Funding Amount | Roll-up summary of the sum of all Fee Lines. |
| Total Upfront Payment Amount | Roll-up summary of the sum of all Fee Lines that need to be paid upfront. |
| Total Paid Amount | Roll-up summary of the sum of all Payments made, associated with this Student Fee. |
| Student Fee Label |
Text field to describe the nature/relationship of the Student Fee. This field may be automatically populated based on the Fee Type: (Fee Type) - (value of Student Fee Label)

| Manual Lock | Checkbox. Locks this Student Fee record. |
| Manual Unlock |
Checkbox. Can unlock a locked fee and overrides the 'Fee Locked' field. For more information on locking/unlocking Student Fees, see this article here.

| Fee Locked | Formula field. Updated to also read from 'Manual Unlock' field. |
| Generate Housing Fees | Generates fees for students who have requested and have been allocated with Housing. Will only work if linked to a PE Pathway, and if Main Term Student Fee = true. |
Fee Line
| Field | Description |
| Student Fee | Lookup to the Student Fee record that this Fee Line belongs to. |
| Fee Description | Text field describing the Fee Type and Course. |
| Funding Allocation | Lookup to the Funding Allocation record (if there is scholarship provided). |
| Skip Funding Allocation | Checkbox. Prevents this Fee Line from being included in Funding calculations. |
| Discountable | Checkbox. If checked, Discount Funding can be applied to this Fee Line. |
| Void |
Marks this Fee Line record as void, and will be deleted (if not locked), if the PE Pathway's 'Term Fee Status' is set to 'Regenerate'. For more information, see: Regenerate Fees. |
| Total Fee Amount | Formula field that calculates the sum of fees for this Fee Line record. |
| Manual Fee | Lookup to Fee record. Only needed if this Fee Line is created manually. |

| Fee Locked | Formula field. Updated to also read from 'Manual Unlock' field. |
