Study Registration
This requires the Short Course Feature license.
Introduced in v3.12 as part of Continuing Education, the Study Registration object is created when a user places an order for a Study Offering.
The record contains details on the Contact who has registered for a Study Offering, the registration status, as well as whether any Study Credits have been used.

A draft Study Registration is first created when a draft Order Line is created (i.e. the student places an order).
When the student completes the payment (Order status = Paid), the Study Registration's status will be updated to ‘Confirmed’.
If there are Study Credits applied against the Order Line, this will be reflected in the Study Registration record.
If the Study Offering (that the student registers for) is linked to a Course Offering, then, Course Connections and Session Connections will be created.
-
See the trigger that creates the Course Connection and Session Connection here.
- By default, this happens when the Study Registration Status = Confirmed, but this can be customized with other values as well (see here).
On the other hand, if the student withdraws from the Study Registration (Status = Withdrawn), then, the Course Connection and Session Connections will be withdrawn as well.
- See the trigger here.
