Short Course Enrollments
Single one-Course Program
Overview
This article covers the concept of having a short Course Enrollment (a one-Course Program) within RIO Education.
Use case
Short Course Enrollment can be considered as a Program Enrollment for a single Course only.
For example, a university plans to offer a one-Course Program.
Academic Programs can set their Program Structure Type as 'Subject Only'. Any enrollments into these types of Academic Programs will be treated as Short Course Enrollments.
These Academic Programs will still need to have their Program Plans and Plan Requirements set up with all the available Courses to enroll into.
When enrolling into these types of Programs, the Course Connections will not be created automatically. Instead, it will be up to the admin to implement a way to create the Course Connections, or create them manually.
Once the Course Connection is created with a Course Offering, RIO Education will automatically set the PE Group and the Plan Requirement Course as the usual.
