Agreement
The Agreement object (also named "Partner/External Agreement") represents an agreement between an Educational Institution and another external Educational Institution.
For example, an agreement can be made between two universities to have a credit transfer, from one institution to another.
It is the first of the records that need to be created for transferring credits. To find out how this object works in relation to credit transfer, head here.
A Partner/External Agreement is created from the account of an external Educational Institution.
It will contain details on the type of agreement (i.e. Transfer Credits).
Agreement Courses can be created under it, to specify what Courses from that external university are supported for credit transfer to our university here.
For a use case on credit transfer, see here: Transfer Credits.
Note:
As of v3.12, the Agreement object can also be used to support automatic credit transfer between different Courses within your own university.
With the new checkbox 'Use for Auto Credit Transfer' = TRUE, you can set up an Agreement with your own Educational Institution.
See here for the use case and steps: Auto Credit Transfer.
