Donor Management, GEM, EDA, NPSP & RIO

NPSP &  EDA  are NOT compatible. GEM is not the same as NPSP, it provides only a subset of the NPSP functionality. Best practice is to run NPSP and EDA in separate Salesforce Orgs, so if you are implementing RIO this applies. You cannot install GEM into an org with NPSP.
