Academic Program
The Academic Program in RIO Education is similar to the general Bachelor or Diploma Degree that most higher education institutions have. This Academic Program should also be linked to an appropriate University Department, e.g., a Bachelor's of Accounting Degree should be linked to the School of Business, not to the School of Science.
RIO University currently has 2 University Departments, which are the School of Business, and the School of Information Systems. From these 2 University Departments will sprout 4 Bachelor Academic Programs:
1) Bachelor of Business Management.
2) Bachelor of Business Information System.
3) Bachelor of Information System.
4) Bachelor of Network Security.
Each Program may also have its own entry criteria description. The data will be populated in the data template like so:
| Column | Description |
| Program Name | Name for the Academic Program. |
| Program Code | Requires manual user input. Acts as an identifier for a Program. This will be used to define the name for Academic Program-related Grade Settings. |
| Program Entry Criteria | Entry criteria description that will be displayed to prospective students in the application process. |
| University Department Ext ID | Select the University Department that will be linked to the associated Academic Program. |
