Course Offering
Previously in Master Data Template Guide - Course, it was mentioned that several Courses can become part of a Program, and Courses can have several Couse Offerings.
The purpose of Course Offering is to allow Courses to be offered in multiple Terms and not just a single Term only. It serves as the connection between Course and Term.
So let's say RIO University's Sunshine Coast Campus has all the Courses established, assigning a max capacity of 40 students for each Course, and is now ready to assign them to Semester 1 and 2 for year 2021. The data should be assigned like this:
Note: Notice the Course Offering BUS101, in red brackets, being assigned to Semester 1 2021 and Semester 2 2021. This is the correct way to assign the data.

| Course Offering Name | Name for the Course Offering. |

Maximum number of seats available for students to enroll. |

Specify the related term for this Course Offering. |

Campus Location Ext ID |
Specify which campus for the Course Offering. |

Primary Faculty Ext ID |
Specify the lead instructor/lecturer for this Course Offering. |

Fee Label |
Identify which child fee of the parent fee defined in Course should be used. Will replace the default fee from Course. |

Manual Fee Selection |
[ TRUE/FALSE ] This will override fee lookups. Ignores the "Use Default Fee" in Course and Fee Label. |

Fee Ext ID |
Lookup to fee. Determines fees to be charged for a Course. |
|
Course Delivery Method |
[ Classroom / Online- Instructor Lead / Online- Self Learning ] How a Course is delivered. |

Course Ext ID |
Specify the related Course for this Course Offering. |
