1. Credits Enrolled When a Student Is Enrolled in a Course

When a student is actively enrolled in a course
(Course Connection Enrollment Status = Enrolled),
the system updates the PE Pathway’s Credits Enrolled field using the Credits Offered value from the Course Connection.

How it works:

• The student enrolls in a course.
• The system checks the Credits Offered field in the Course Connection (CC).
• PE Pathway > Credits Enrolled increases by that Credits Offered value.

2. Credits Enrolled When a Student Completes a Course

When the student completes the course
(Course Connection Enrollment Status = Completed),
the system recalculates the Credits Enrolled value.

How it works:

• The student completes the course.
• The system retrieves the Credits Attempted value from the Course Connection.
• PE Pathway > Credits Enrolled is updated (recalculated) based on Credits Attempted instead of Credits Offered.
