Accounting System Integration Overview
Accounting management is one of the most important functions for any university to perform.
Student Fees (invoices) and Payment records are generated in RIO, as students are billed (e.g. tuition fees, accommodation) and make payments.
With RIO Connect, these records (invoices and payments) can be synced to accounting systems for the finance team to reconcile and balance.
Considerations:
- Update Invoice/Invoice Line is risky.
- Avoid double dipping for Credit Card payment.
- Consider Credit Memo/Refund.
