A Course Learning Outcome is a formal statement that defines the specific, measurable knowledge, skills, or behaviors a student should be able to demonstrate by the end of a course.
Example: “Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to analyze (Verb) financial statements (Subject) using GAAP standards (Condition) to identify corporate liquidity issues (Purpose).”
