RIO Ready: Student ID Generation Functionality
Generate your student IDs quickly.
This RIO Ready custom functionality, Student ID Generation, provides the capability to generate student IDs/student numbers.
This generates student IDs when the Contact Type is updated to “Student” (and the Student ID was initially blank before updating the Contact Type).

Suggestion
- You can setup a custom automation to update the Contact Type value to “Student”.
- For example, a flow that updates the Contact Type to “Student” when the Program Application Status is “Approved”.
Format:
- You can define the format of the Student Id to a certain extent for example: RIO-000001, RIO-000002, etc.
