You might encounter the error “The selected contact must be the same as the program enrollment” when changing the Program Status of a Program Enrollment:
This error occurs because the contact associated with the related Course Connections of the selected Program Enrollment differs from the contact of the Program Enrollment. If all contacts of the related Course Connections for the selected Program Enrollment match the contact of the Program Enrollment, there may be a different Program Enrollment where the contact is the same, which could be causing the issue.
Resolution
To resolve this, update the Contact to ensure consistency. Either update all the Course Connections associated with the Program Enrollment or update the Program Enrollment itself, depending on which student the Program Enrollment actually belongs to.
After correcting the issue, you should be able to change the Program Status of the Program Enrollment.
