Originally reported on Support Case 00065525, you may encounter the following error when trying to create or update a new Program Enrollment record.

This error may also be generated by automated processes (e.g., Payments2Us) when they attempt to update the Program Enrollment record.

Cause

his error occurs when the selected Program’s Program Pathway is configured to automatically enroll students into their courses, but there are no corresponding Course Offerings available for the Program Enrollment’s Starting Term.

Because the system is unable to create the required Course Connections for the student, the process fails and the error is generated.

Resolution

Ensure that the required Course Offerings are created and available for the Program Enrollment’s Starting Term.

Once the Course Offerings are in place, the system will be able to create the necessary Course Connections, allowing the Program Enrollment record to be created or updated successfully.

Notes

Programs plans that use manual course enrollment may not encounter this error, as Course Connections are not automatically linked and enrolled during Program Enrollment creation.
